What's Happening..
Spring is here for the farm, birds singing and everything is growing. Planted this week: spring onions, radishes, garlic, potatoes and lettuces, green beans, zucchini squash, cucumbers, Leeks lobelia, dianthus, purple fountain grass, alyssa, zinnias, sunflowers, dahlias, coleus, celosia, salvia, lavender, nasturiums and marigolds.
We're glad there's rain in the forecast this week. The hives are out foraging and finding pollen in the hen bit and dandelions. We've got lots of growing in the greenhouse, you can shop ahead and pickup on Saturday, April 12th from 10am-4pm.
The Heartland Business Builder resubmission of our application, is ready to go when the day opens. Thanks to Christy Davis for reviewing our application. Christy and her family have been with us since 2016 and we appreciate their support.
We've been working with Burns Hardware and Homemade Goods to expand our selection of fresh produce this year. Nolan and Jena Smith are partners ensuring local, fresh, nutritious foods are available and accessible to all community member.
