A cross between arugula and mustard, mizuna also has a mild peppery taste. Red or green in color they have feathery serrated edges and have a glossy surface that makes them wonderfully decorative. These greens have a mild mustard plant flavor that can be steamed, boiled, stir-fried or used to complement other greens mixed together for a salad. We like it best with rice or quinoa with a balsamic vinegar dressing.
